K-1 for my Fiance in Bogota - APPROVED!

Just clicked refresh for the 5,000th time at the USCIS website and it says "post decision activity" and says it was approved and they are mailing me a notice (and more paperwork?).

I have so many thoughts in my head right now.....what should I be doing right now? Looking at the next batch of forms my fiance will need? How long should it be before her interview in Bogota? Does Bogota require the medical exam to be taken in advance (or day of) the interview? Also, is there anything else I can do to help her in the interview...like sending more evidence of the ongoing relationship, or letters from myself and family members?

Any advice would be much appreciated

If there is no RFE, all is good. Your paperwork is forward to NVC. They say it can take up to 15 days. I sent an email to NVC requesting the Bogota case number. I received the email from NVC 9 days after my NOA2 notice. Did the online DS-156 form. Then when I was ready to make the interview appointment, there was a notice of fee changes. As of 13 April, they reduced the visa fee from $350 to to $240, so I waited to the 13th. This morning I pretty much did everything. I went online, payed the visa fee with my credit card. I used an account with my girl's information. Then called Dr. Dennis office in Bogota and made the doctor appointment two days before the embassy interview. Made all the flight reservations. Then made the hotel reservation. The morning of the doctor's appointment, we will go to the lab for lab work and x-ray. In the afternoon, we go to the doctor. Two days later is the embassy appointment. The day after I come back and she goes back to Barranquilla and wait for the visa package. When she gets the package, the next day, she will be on the plane to Miami.

Don't sweat it, but it looks like you need to do a lot of reading, because all that I have said, has been said here in VisaJourney. Read the Bogota reviews, in there you will find a lot of information.

Thanks for all the great advice...I'll use this thread as a tool for the coming days/weeks. I assume when the NOA2 arrives it will also have instructions for the next step(s)?

Also, Is it necessary to attend my fiance's interview? I'd really like to go, but I just spent almost 4 weeks there in January, and I may end up flying down when it's time for her to leave. I don't have unlimited vacation days and if it's okay for her to do the interview solo I think we'd prefer that way.

Thanks again
