Hello to all the VJ members here.

I contacted my congresswoman on 04/12/2012 and told her counsel of my situation of how I left out my wife's name

on the G-325a form by accident and I received an RFE for this. She stated that an RFE changes the processing time

and puts you in another stack of files, but she would send an email to them, but do not expect anything even though

it was a simple oversight on my part.

Well today she sent me an email and called me personally to say this:

"Good news from USCIS!

Hi Rodrique,

The I130 petitions have been approved today 4/13/12. The approval notices will be mailed to the petitioner’s address of record and the petitions will be forwarded to the National Visa Center for processing."

Please let me know if we can assist any further.

Best wishes to you and your family,

I called USCIS to verify this and checked the website and there is no change there. I have not received a text message or an email yet,

but I will take what she as truth and with a grain of salt.

What do you all here think of this.......should I jump for joy or wait for the official verification before sounding the alarm to my wife?

It is very coincidental to receive this 1 day after she emailed them, but it is a great feeling.

I am now awaiting the I-797 and/or text message and email to really jump for joy.

Now to the next stage as I already have the necessary documents.

Thanks all and I wish all a speedy NOA 2.

I'd let your wife know what you told all of us. I think you shouldn't have any reason to doubt your congresswoman. I bet everything will be start moving shortly.

Thanks you guys,

I received the text and email confirmation today and I am ready

to start the NVC process. I see they have lowered the IV fees,

that is great as I will be going to Rio for the interview and any

money saved is a blessing.

Please write of your experiences and questions they ask of you Isis.

I pray we all receive our visas and get to be with our loved ones as

soon as possible.

Have a great day and blessings to all.

Hey dude!

I am thinking about reporting a detailed progress of my experience here, especially when it comes to the NVC. They set apart the cases when you get there and sometimes it can be very stressfull, I spent 30 days there but it could have been a lot less time if they hadn't delayed so much my son's file. It's important to pay all the IV bills together so the cases get complete together too!

Tell me what you think about it please!
