today makes exactly 5months-1day from 5months to be exact at uscis..and im obssessed with checking this website...ughhh waiting and waiting and waitung sucks. and some people have around the same timeline and have been approved..im holding down no matter what..it would be nice to receive a decision this week considering im in naja with my husband and we could celebrate together :dance:

YOU should wait more

5 months its the general waiting time but sometimes it took more then that our i130 aprroved in 192 days ( 6 months and 10 days )

and some other people waited 7 months or 8 months ...thats what iam seeing here in vj members

It takes at least six months and sometimes up to eight months or so for your petition to be approved. Don't worry, you'll get there soon! Many blessings

its really a long wait and am also obsessed with checking their website for any update........ we both have similar timelines............ my hubby called uscis yesterday and they told him they are working on september filers and its remaining 65days for our petition to b approved, we are really feeling bad about it but we have no choice but to wait and pray it going to b less than 65days....... we all have to keep praying and waiting patiently for that day.

I drives me insane also, so don't feel bad about it, you are not alone! We got our NOA1 on November 15. I saw an average for Nigerian I-130 it said 159 days...that is the first week in May....Hope ours come before that!! Enjoy your time with the hubby! (L)

its took ours right at 4 mnths to get approved ... we just got approved 2/29/12 at USCIS (NOA2) and already had our visa interview 4/11/12 and were approved...total time from NOA1 to approval is right over 5 mnths...you never know!! keep your head up sweetie!!

Thats right KandT keep it positive. You never know when your angel gets your petition and lays it on the adjudicators desk. It can happen. Stay faithful and strong.
