im petitioning my wife my PD is june2011 ... received our nvc case # on March 2012 ... called nvc and gave them my email address as well as my wife's. my questions are the ff:

(if anyone knows or based on their experiences or knowledge)WHEN will we start getting emails from them? and WHAT are we expecting to get from our emails? i've read somewhere(LingChe nvc shortcut)that i have to MANUALLY input our case so i can start receiving notifications and emails from NVC, WHAT telephone # should i call to manually input our nvc case #??

im looking at ppl's timelines and i thinking to myself, how are some ppl getting DS-3032 notifications, AOS bills and etch... sorry if i sound a little pissed off... im just confuse why we havent got anything from them since i called a week ago..

im super eager to start to process to get it out of the way.. im really sleepless and super stressed out since we got our case#...

did you get the IIN too?if you didnt call NVC again and ask for it,in order for you to log-in on the payment portal you will need those numbers and in my experienced after i called NVC i started receiving emails after 2 or 3 days i think but really depends, if you want you can email the DS3032 now that's what i did then everything goes faster from there just make sure all your docs are ready like I864 form your itr, pay stubs etc... and the DS230 form and IV package... im not an expert on these but that was base on my experienced good luck!

Hi there! Since you are under F2A category, all you have to do is WAIT. NVC will send you notifications to the email you provided them once your case is ELIGIBLE. As of the moment, PDs of JAn-APril 2011 are the ones being process by the NVC. Emailing them the DS 3032 wont help. They will not accept it. I tried that many times, but all I got from NVC was YOUR CASE IS NOT YET ELIGIBLE FOR FURTHER PROCESSING. Paying online is also not possible. Dont you worry you will receive your emails/notifications soon. Just be patient.

The above reply you got is from an IR category. They dont have to wait for a visa to become available thats why it is possible for them to do the shortcuts.

I was wondering are you parmanent resident green card holder or US Chitizen? It is not possible that green card holder petition which PRIORITY DATE IN JUNE, CAN RECEIVE IIN NUMBER FROM NVC.

Please confirm us your status. It will help others F2A filers to see NVC's future action/processing on the cases.

i am one of the jan2011 PD as you can see in my signature. for PD of April 2011 she is a friend of mine who received her emails just last week. :-) check my profile so you can see the two vjers who are currently being processed by nvc like me.

thank u very much.. that will help me sleep alil better at night =) ... since im still in getting the NVC # part, i can barely understand the timelines after that... i will further my knowledge by reading more forum post/questions similar to my situation...

btw, are u the petitioner or benificiary? im the petitioner and im only a permanent resident.. im also looking to go for citizenship to since im eligible now.. (4 years 10 months)... hopefully what will speed up my f2a petition..

yes i was provided an IIN this morning.. i asked for it and the operator gave it to me and told me that they cannot send me forms or emails just yet.. im a permanent resident( green card holder) .

thnks athena june.. as for timeline, i will start it when i get emails from nvc on ds-3032 form and the rest of the forms =). i got my NOA2 six months after ... hopefuly you get yours in a few days or weeks.. good luck also with the nvc stage =)

My case was completed by NVC in December 2010. I am waiting for visa number to become available. I am hoping that by july 2012, I will receive my visa number and interview date.

I am permanent resident green card holder who applied for my wife.
