I never understood why they don't have a law against that kind of stuff. I'm thinking Zimmerman can sue the media for lying like they did such as messing with the 911 tapes, but I would really like to see some producers and CEO's at NBC and CNN do a year in a real joint. I think after a few of them do some real time it will stop all this bs in a NYC second.

Yeah, or a laws that make them monetarily libel for damages in the cases where they knowingly make false reports. Remember NBC and how they smeared Richard Jewell in that Atlanta bombing case?

I doubt he would have gotten his panties in a twist in the first place if he spotted one of these guys walking down the sidewalk as he drove through his neighborhood. Teenage boys of any color aren't automatically suspicious for walking on residential sidewalks, whether they're built like these guys, or weigh 110 lbs. Nor is their mere presence cause to follow them around like a weirdo or a perv.

Hey you "Superman" what about these little teenager in the pics bellow. Would you like to be smashed on the ground for just one of those babies? All these babies are high school football players. But hey do not forget the key word here "17 year old boy". And you never would hurt one those babies, nooo your are good man and pacific citizen. I would like to see you defending yourself against one those "kids". :pop: s

Zimmerman neighbor on robberies

By Dylan Stableford | The Cutline – Tue, Apr 3, 2012

George Zimmerman's Sanford, Fla., neighbor, said the neighborhood watchman protected his residence from a potential burglary several weeks before the shooting of Trayvon Martin.

Frank Taaffe, a former neighborhood watch captain, told CNN's "Starting Point" that his house was in the process of being robbed on Feb. 2, but Zimmerman called Sanford police, who thwarted the robbery.

"My house was being robbed, and George on his nightly rounds watched this burglary in progress, called Sanford P.D., waited for them, and helped ensure that nothing bad happened to my house," Taaffe said. "And it's documented in the 911 call for February 2. That was my residence that George Zimmerman helped stop." Zimmerman shot and killed Martin on Feb. 26.

"Neighbor-hood, that's a great word," Taaffe said.

Taaffe said that "young black males" were the perpetrators in the attempted robbery of his home. "We had eight burglaries in our neighborhood all perpetrated by young black males in the 15 months prior to Trayvon being shot," Taaffe said. "It would have been nine."

Taaffe denied that he told the New York Times that burglaries were done by "Trayvon-like dudes with their pants down."

"I never said that," he said. "I never used that term."

But on CNN, Taaffe followed up the denial of an incendiary comment with another one.

When asked if, based on the string of robberies, Zimmerman should have been profiling Trayvon Martin the night of the shooting, Taaffe said: "There's an old saying, 'If you plant corn, you get corn,'"

"It is what it is," he added. "I would go on record by stating that of the eight prior burglaries in the 15 months prior to the Trayvon Martin shooting, all of the perpetrators were young black males."

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

The point is ....Can the prosecution PROVE George Zimmerman was NOT in fear of severe bodily injury? THAT is what you have to prove.

Reasonable fear is the magic word. The defendant will have to demonstrate that there he reasonably felt that he was in danger of great bodily harm or death by the victim. Was he reasonably fearful of the snapple or was it the skittles that scared the heck out of him. Couldn't have been the victim himself - if Z was scared of him, he would not have gotten out of his car to follow him. So, did the snapple or the skittles make Z fear for his life?

Or maybe he decided not to shoot when he was punched initially or even when Martin jumped on him and beat him but AFTER he was getting hid head pounded on CONCRETE.whistling.gif

This is how the events unfolded. Martin, minding his own business, just came back from 7-Eleven with some skittles and an iced tea. Paranoid schizophrenic psychopathic lunatic Zimmerman hunted him down, stalked him, followed him, and chased him, and then killed him. It was pretty much a cold blooded murder in my book.

------------------------------------

------------------------------------

"Martin, a Miami native, was visiting his father in Sanford and watching the NBA All-Star game at a house in a gated Sanford community, the Retreat at Twin Lakes. That evening, Martin walked out to the nearby 7-Eleven to get some Skittles and Arizona Iced Tea. On his return trip, he drew the attention of Zimmerman, who was patrolling the neighborhood in a sport-utility vehicle and called 911 to report "a real suspicious guy."

"This guy looks like he's up to no good or he's on drugs or something," Zimmerman told the dispatcher. "It's raining, and he's just walking around looking about." The man tried to explain where he was. "Now he's coming towards me. He's got his hand in his waistband. And he's a black male...Something's wrong with him. Yup, he's coming to check me out. He's got something in his hands. I don't know what his deal is...These #######, they always get away."

After discussing his location with the dispatcher, Zimmerman exclaimed, "####, he's running," and the following sounds suggest he left his vehicle to run after Martin.

"Are you following him?" the dispatcher asked. Zimmerman replied: "Yep."

"Okay, we don't need you to do that," the dispatcher warned.

Several minutes later, according to other callers to 911 in the neighborhood, Zimmerman and Martin got into a wrestling match on the ground. One of the pair could be heard screaming for help. Then a single shot rang out, and Martin lay dead."

They should hang a sign on every street in that neighbor-hood that says:

Beware: Young Black Males

Call police if you see any. If they talk to you then shoot them. Stand Your Ground!

So folks should ignore the fact that black males commit a disproportionate amount of crime?

For Zimmerman's sake, good thing you won't be sitting in judgement of the FACTS.

Cute. You know that isn't it but you say so anyway. Why? Zimmerman has injuries to the back of his head consistent with his story of being attacked. IF that is the case (we really do not know) then convince 12 jurors he would NOT be reasonable to assume he could suffer severe bodily injury.

Zimmerman ONLY needs to be "scared" as you put it at the MOMENT he fired th shot, not when he got out of his car. The "Stand your ground" law applies to anyone not violating the law. We have seen no accusations that Zommerman was violating the law in any way. Poor judgement? Maybe.

As I have said, we HAVE trials and we HAVE laws. I am satisfied with them and satisfied to see this be processed. You?

Then what are you worried about? Do you really think that is it? The trial will last 3 minutes?

Likely it was the fact that Martin was on top of him, beating him.
