Visiting US while pending I-129F

Hi All. So my fiance and I will be filing the I-129F next month. We were hoping to have him come visit the family for a second time in August as this is a big month for us (birthdays, family reunions, etc). I don't see our I-129F being adjusted by this time as current timelines suggest a May Application will be closer to October (of course I know this could change)

What kind of things can I have him bring to prove we are not trying to illegally immigrate him here at that time? He works for his father as a auto repair guy. He does not own the home he lives in cause it is his parents second home. I am not sure other than a return airline ticket what to have him bring at the POE for this visit.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated as I really want to see him again before the visa is approved.

Thank you!

My fiancee visited me twice during this exact process and it was never an issue. As long as he's there for the interview and there to receive and fill out paperwork everything should be fine. I don't think london would be a whole lot different than Germany. Hope this helps.

I just travelled to the US (still here on holiday) and I have not had any problems at all. All I have been asked is: purpose of the visit, who are you visiting, how long are you staying, what do you do in UK and you are not planning to stay right? I answered with the truth, saying I am a full-time student and was visiting my fiance and leaving after 18days. I only got asked if I had a return ticket but did not want to see anything, nor proofs I brought with me, mostly university related.

I guess if the visit is quite short, they dont want to see much, but then it all depends on the person you find at the desk...

I must say if I was to visit again I would be as nervous as I was last week!

Whatever proofs he has, tell him to bring them with him, he might not even been asked to show them.

As long as you show some proof that your fiance will go back - particularly paystubs from work, phone or utility bills, etc. - just any proof that your fiance has strong ties back in the UK, you should be fine.

My fiancee and I entered the States together last month, and she almost got denied because she wasn't employed at the time. The only thing she had was her return ticket. We were fortunate that the officer let us go because our stories lined up (he interviewed us separately), but I definitely wouldn't want anyone else to go through what we did. All of this was after we sent in our I-129F and got our NOA1.

Hey, I'm from the states and my fiance is going to be going through Frankfurt for the whole interview process... is there anyway I could hit you up privately and ask you a few questions about the process? Its super stressful and dealing with Frankfurt has been somewhat of a nightmare because its hard to get through to a human being to talk to.
