Successful F1 student visa with i130 pending

Good day all, my priority date is Feb 2004 and I am currently in the F3 category.

It is roughly 2 years until my date comes up and a visa number becomes available (should the fan dangled visa bulletin dates move month for month :) )

My question is, has anyone on this forum with a pending i130 been granted a student visa. I would love to use the last two years waiting to gain an American qualification which will no doubt spring board me when I get my LPR status.

Any thoughts?
