Hello to everyone here and thankyou for any answer you might help me with.

long story short.I was here 2 months before all this happened

Domestic violence after marriage to a U.S citizen

U.S citizen revoked my I-864,I-130 and I-485 2 months after I arrived here and it all got approved

I have been arrested 2 times on domestic violence but never charged.

Citizen got a felony charge but with judication withheld.

Citizen was also arrested for domestic violence but never charged.

Question is :

1. I filed for VAWA havent got approved yet.

Can the Citizen get it revoked by admitting proof of the violence by writing to USCIS and showing photos of abuse I afflicted on her?

2.What if I get the green card before citizen tries to say I abused her?

3.How long does it take to get a green card?

What Visa did you enter on?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

If you have a restraining order against her,if you stayed in some shelter for victims of domestic violence, have pictures of the abuse you suffered, have police record when you called the cops and if you you have letters showing good moral character then you wont have any problem to have your VAWA approved, but if you can't proof domestic violence of course they will deny your case .Your police record must be "clean" and I hope you submitted with the I-360 form. The VAWA is taking at least 7 months and once approved you have to apply for AOS, and the AOS is taking between 4 to 7 months. Your wife withdrew the I-864 and AOS then be prepared because they will scrutinize you.If your wife sent proof that she was battered then it's better you find a good lawyer.

If you did not do anything to her, why would she have pictures of abuse? What happened exactly? Was there a confrontation and both of you fought with each other? Who hit who first? Does she have a restraining order against you or you against her? It sounds like neither one of you was sentenced because she got Itadjudication withheld. What proceeded the fight and what was it about. I would rather hear the details of what happened exactly. It sounds like you came on a fiancee visa and she immediately filed for you. How long have you been here exactly?

they are also aware that some men are falsely using the vawa to remove conditions without the hassle of staying with a wife you never loved. What bothers me about the poster is that he says that hes worried that his wife will submit pictures. If hes completely innocent, then why would he worry if his wife submitted pictures of him? It also says that all his things arrived within 2 months. Who's to say that he didnt get his ead and then come up with a scam to set her up to get out of the 2 year requirement to stay with her to ROC? I wouldnt think that automatically normally but the fact he is afraid his wife would show documented pictures of abuse or witness statements screams to me that he has something to hide.

I was absolutely mortified that there are videos on youtube coaching men how to use vawa.. One of this guys statemnets was " Does your wife want to know where you have been or discourage friendships? Um..yeah if you are out partying all night and facebooking with half of the female staff of walmart...LOL

Here is the video I was talking about. I thought some of you would find it amusing.. Just find some female dupe to marry you if you are out of status, then accuse her of wanting to know where you are at night or limit your " friendships"

I am glad Americans cant be accused by Americans of VAWA. They would deport half of my friends somewhere LOL. I never thought I would as a woman criticise VAWA because there are women who really benefit from it but like EVERYTHING else , there are people abusing it with frivilous charges, falsely accusing american citizens as far as I am concerned. I d hate for my little brother to run into one of these visa overstays and get duped into marrying him and then..oh gasp, she accuses him of abuse. Most real abuse victims are so freaked out that they cannot plot there way through these processes. If lets say, a domestic violence group helps a woman get vawa and there are documented proofs of abuse, oh hell yeah. But some of these claims I think are just an easy way to circumvent the legal time frame for immigration and just a way to abuse american citizens, Men AND WOMEN. Lately it seems like the latest scam victims I have seen are women. Its ridiculous.. This lawyer says emotional abuse is asking your husband to account for his time. HELLO. Again , most of my american friends would be charged with vawa with their american husbands .. sheesh

just my opinion.. I know an american woman who wouldnt hurt a fly falsely accused by her husband and she ended up getting him deported but it wasnt before he tried every trick in the book to frame her

Here is an a Russian woman who owns a marriage company and reveals that some women are taught that VAWA is a path to American citizenship. Listen to her carefully. She actually is talking about how VAWA is being used for women to roc and get citizenship and how its a huge incentive to file false accusations. This is NOT to say that there are not real cases of domestic violence. This is also talking about how when men petition from overseas and for women as well. It does not allow the accused spouse, whether it be male or female, to show proofs. Many are not aware of VAWA until its too late.

She speaks on behalf of American men who were defrauded by Russian women.. And shes russian. Its very very insightful.

This is NOT to say that VAWA hasnt saved people. But the problem is that its now being used to circumvent the actual immigration process and this russian woman is speaking out against it.

Is that video serious?

No. If you open the clip on Youtube it tells you it's a spoof. The original ad is "Violence Against Women, Australia says No" here:

Well, what happen? We were fighting alot, and since I have a bad temper I hit her,she called the cops on me first and then things got worse with the police there after,She tried putting a restraint order on me and when it got denied cause she didnt call the cops to show proof,I found out and I put one on her and it got aproved .Dont ask me how but it did.So I kept going on since I was getting away with it.

I filed for vawa in nov 2010. I was arrested in 2010 before I filed and again arrested in 2011.We were married only a short time and lived together only a short time. She withdrew everything after she got out of jail.Maybe I was wrong for doing this to her but I didnt want to get deported.Whats my chances of staying under the vawa and getting a green card?If she showes proof after I get my green card can she get it revoked?

Not only that but if they can find out that you lied you can be slapped with a misrepresentation, deported and given a lifetime ban.

i can't help but feel this is a troll post. I can't believe you would seriously consider accusing your wife who did NOT physically abuse you, of abusing you just to remain in the US.

Seriously!! OP, I doubt you'll be approved if you are for real. It will probably (hopefully) look like she was just defending herself, not abusing you. Not to mention you certainly do not show good moral character. If you lie to get VAWA and the truth comes out you will probably lose your green card, be deported, and be banned for life.
