Trinidad Interview

Hi all - We just got notification from NVC that my husband's interview will be in Trinidad on May 18th (CR1).

I am the petitioner and was planning on going down to Trinidad for the interview but it was scheduled for the same day as my Masters graduation. :bonk: Should I skip graduation? How important is it in Trinidad for the petitioner to accompany the beneficiary?

Thanks!

Timeline

Don't know how it is viewed in Trinidad but for certain countries the petitioner not being there is not viewed as a negative. How important is showing up for your graduation to you vs being at the interview? I missed by college graduation and got my diploma after and it was not a big deal. Hopefully someone who already went through the Trinidad interview will respond.
