Where to tell your relationship/marriage story?

Hello VJ community!

I'm from Russia married to a USC. We've been together for more than 4 years, with more than two years spent apart and doing long-distance with occasional visit to each other's countries. We finally got married in January and are now preparing the AOS documents.

After filling out almost all the forms required for AOS, I realized that not a single form asks about the actual relationship, how it started, developed, etc. Isn't USCIS interested in that or are they simply looking for hard-core evidence (lease, joint bank account, etc.), with no emotional narrative ;)?

Thank you for your comments!

Natalia

All the question about the relationship, financials, lease, bank accounts etc.. will be asked on your interview date. All the paperwork/evidence you will bring on that day.

You got it! They don't care about the teary-eyed emotional stuff - just the hard proof.

You don't need to send in any of that with the forms. You'd bring it to the interview, if there is one.
