Don't know the story yet but some filipino community leaders seeks apology from the producers of this movie as they said it portrays filipinos in a worst case.

There is a hot topic here in this forum about stereotyping filipinos.

Why? Because the first part is about the Philippines? Don't get pissed off about a movie just part of it portrays terrorists in the Philippines. There are terrorists in the Philippines so what, get over it.

I must of missed it to, in fact I think it was missed here in the Phils also as my Fiancee or her best friend had not heard any "buzz" about it when I asked them.

Must of been a slow news day.

We watched that movie, Iwas a little surprised when the actor say tagalog ,theres a sub titles. Sad that they portray some filipinos like that. My questions is , does the philippines government knows thats some part of this movies is related to terrorism and some filipinos will be acting as terorrist? I read in local news website that they( the director of the movie ) need to have an approval from the government to shoot and get some actors to portay in certain films. So why seek an apology where in the first place they shouldnt allow this movie to shoot or get actors in the philippines. come to think of it.
