What is the best way to convert FLAC to MP3?

I'd like something free, of course and also simple to use. Batch conversion would be good too. I've been archiving my cd collection as FLAC files and I'd like to convert some of them to MP3, maybe all of them so I can have easy access to both formats.

Use Audacity. It's a free program. In order for you to export files you'll need lame mp3 encoder. It's on the webpage too.

My brother really likes Google Music. I haven't used it so not sure what it does besides store 20,000 songs for free. With easy access on your phone or any computer.

Isn't Google music like the Apple iTunes iCloud service? I know you can store your music in the cloud and then stream it to your various devices.
