Can any body answer? I have two questions

I have filed F2A for my wife. Question is once the priority date becomes current how long it will take for her to get inter view at counselate office?

If every thing goes smoothly, after a successfull interview how long it might take for her to be eligible to travel?

Thank you in anticipation,

Depends on if you undergo administrative processing (AP)

Thank you for your reply...what is this AP? how long it may cost in general? General Idea. AP shouldn't cost anything (that is a fee) but AP can last quite a long time depending on the details of your case and country.

PD is Jan 30th, 2011. You may become current by May-July 2013 but this depends on how fast the Visa bulletin moves (affected by number of applicants) so you may become current sooner or later than the time frame I gave. Once you become current, it may take you up to a week (plus/minus by email) to get an interview. If you want to recieve packet 4 (for interview) ASAP, contact NVC and have them add your email address in relation to your case to their system.

hi,

if your priority date is 15th jan 2011 then it can take more one year to be current. The current PD is 15th oct 2009 for F2A filers. after that counselar process will start which can complete with in 90 days. then she can travel. follow visa bulletin may 2012 Archive.
