EP Document Questions

I can't believe how "rusty" I've become over this several month delay. A couple of clarifications1:

1. For the DS-230, I scan and send to my wife. She signs the second page, but not the last page. Then she sends it back to me, and I email it with other "Package 4" documents.

2. The GUZ Supplement page mentions "Packet 3". But I assume I am not filing a "Packet 3", and that the Supplement Page goes with the DS-230/Package 4.

3. Who signs the GUZ Supplement? Me or my wife?

4. Is there a complete list anywhere of what goes into the Package 4 and AOS Files?

First off, Packet 4 is the interview letter. You receive this from NVC.

1. Yes, both parts are completed, but only part 1 is signed. The form is then sent with the IV package.

2. The GUZ supplemental is included in the IV package, along with the DS-230.

3. Signed by the beneficiary.

GUZ IV Packet 3 Supplemental must go with the DS-230. It is her form, not yours, so she signs it. She fills it out, even. This is a stupid form (in terms of technology) so print it, fill it out, scan it in, email it to you.

Why are you scanning the DS-230 again? I am confused. If you cannot SAVE anything with the form, now is the time to get the 30 day free trial of Adobe AcroBat X, the pro version (which allows saving of forms)

FWIW, 'packet 3' is all of the DOC Intake at NVC, in yer particular case.

Packet 4 is the interview letter.

Do all documents need to be in PDF, or can I send things like pictures (I'm adding relationship evidence to DS-230) as jpg, etc.?

all must be pdf.

if'n you use irfanview with cutepdf, well, you can create pdf's from jpg's rather easily.
