Call NVC at 603-334-0700 and ask them for your CDJ case #, invoice # and beneficiary #. Those are the things you need to begin filling out your forms and making your appointments.

Check this thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/318913-call-cd-juarez-to-make-sure-they-received-our-k1-approved-file/

Here are the forms: http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/fianceforms.html , instructions(very important to follow and they explain a lot): http://photos.state.gov/libraries/ciudadjuarez/231771/PDFs/K1%20PACKET%20COMPLETE%20_July2011%20UPDATES_.pdf , and CDJ info: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Mexico&cty=Juarez

not to get off topic, but can somebody please verify something for me...

I seen in the letter for Cd. Juarez that it says you have to pay $350.00... is that in ADDITION to the $340 you are paying up front when you file the i129f so a total of $690?

also approximately how much do we need for vaccinations in Cd. Juarez, my fiancee has all the shots, but no proof so I guess she will have to pay for it all again.

Thanks!

David

The $340 you send with the I-129F is the petition filing fee. The $350 (this fee is going down to $240 as of April 13th) is the visa processing fee paid in Mexico (can be done online or by phone too I believe).

She can probably get her vaccinations by going to IMSS. She will not be getting them at her medical for the interview. Juarez does not give vaccinations to K-1 applicants. She will need to see a civil surgeon in the US once her visa is approved, she is in the US, married to you and filing for AOS (which by the way costs another $1070). I cannot say how much the vaccinations will cost if she gets them in the US. If she is on your insurance she can get them from your doctor using your insurance, or she can get them at the health department. She will need to bring the records of them with her when she goes to the civil surgeon. The ones required for AOS are MMR, Tdap/TD, varicella (unless she had chickenpox) and the flu shot only during flu season (Oct. - Mar.) This stuff is months in the future though, if you have not even filed the petition yet. Read through all the guides and FAQs here on VJ.
