I can understand moving to the Philippines, but why leave VJ?

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Luz and I have made a decision. Due to things that I would rather not get into we have decided to stop trying for her visa. I am going to give up my job and move there. Luz is starting right now to find me work there. I thank you all for your support and friendship. This will be the last day I will be on VJ. Good luck to you all.

Gary you will be greatly missed here! I hope you and Luz the best of luck! You have spent alot of time helping everyone with your timelines and I appreciated your help very much and I'm sure everyone else does too.

I'm sure you already know that jobs are hard to find there and even if you find one they do not pay very well. I hope you will reconsider giving up on your visa.

9-19: NOA2 by postmarked in snail mail (rcvd' around the 22nd)

10-12: Received e-mail from the NVC stating they recently forwarded our petition to the consulate! =)

10-17: Consulate received petition from NVC and mailed out packet 3 & 4

10-25: Johann collects Packet 3 & 4 from embassy!

10-27: Return information to the embassy!

11-7: Received Packet 4

11-28: INTERVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE DID IT~ APPROVED

12-1: Visa Picked up from Embassy

12-23: Johann is coming to the STATES! Yay!

3-17: It's a GREEN Wedding!!!

Like others have stated, I can understand your decision to move to the PI. I wish you the very best on that.

Do you really need to quit VJ though? It will not be the same here without you and Luz. Reconsider that, ok?

Though we are just new here but i heard a lot regarding the BIG help you contributed to VJ. We just started our way and sad to note that you will not be here to help us out with our timeline. Anyway, Bryan & I are very happy for you and Luz because at last you will be in each others arms everyday and every moment of the day.

Soon, Philippines will welcome you... God bless you always in your new environment...Well, you have Luz to help you out so it will not be a big deal of adjustment on your part.... :D

10/23/2007--7 months and 2 weeks of A/P and still waiting..........God help me!

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

Ah you guys, well certainly you will both be missed here. I am sorry your plans didn't work out as expected, but am happy that you two will be together - finally! Good luck and best wishes to you both for a very long and happy life together. I too hope that you will pop in every now and then just to say hi and tell us how you both are.
