I called the NVC to see if they have received my approved I-130 from the USCIS. They told me they still have not. My notice on the approval letter was dated March 22.

The lady informed me to scan in the document and email it to NVCRESEARCH? Has anyone heard of this? I looked on this website briefly but did not find it. Should I be emailing it somewhere else?

I am pressing for time since I will be leaving on deployment soon!

Thanks all!

Hey!

Just wondered whether you had any response with regards to the NVC - as I am in the same boat as you with regards to the Military Helpline. My fiance who is in the Military is ringing the normal number with regards to getting my LDN number. He called the Military Helpline and they said the same thing.

Thanks and Good Luck :)

Unfortunately, all you can do is wait and scan your approval notice to NVCResearch@state.gov. My approval was on 9 March 2012 and it finally got to NVC on 04 April 2012 and shipped to embassy on the 6th. I kept calling everyday until they said it was in their system and received our new case number. I know my petition is for an I-129F, but getting to NVC from USCIS is the same. BTW, I emailed our scanned copy as well to research and have not heard anything! So, keep calling. Best of luck to you.

Thanks all!

You're still within normal time frames for a case number getting assigned. If you look at the NVC processing times spreadsheet in my signature, you'll see others with dates right before yours, getting case numbers assigned last week. You should be getting yours either late this week or early next week. Just keep calling NVC every single day.
