Hello everyone,

Over the last 5-6 weeks I have been in contact with a sister company to the company I worked for back in Canada ... I had 2 meetings with them and after the last meeting they said they would be mailing me a proposal ... I recieved the proposal on Friday and my wife and I were very happy with the offer and I will be mailing back my acceptance to them ...

They already know that I am currently waiting for my work authorization and/or greencard and they are willing to wait till I get it ... The offer letter they sent me actually stated that my effective employment date is dependent of receiving my work authorization ...

What surprised me is that I will actually me making more money here than I did at the company I worked the last 16+ years at in Canada ...

08-05-06 - Married in Sycamore IL

AOS / EAD
08-24-06 - AOS/EAD mail to Chicago (Day 1)
11-06-06 - GC & Welcome Letter arrive in Mail (Day 75)

I-751
09-23-08 - Sent Package via USPS (Day 1)
01-02-09 - Received GC in mail (with wrong Resident Since date) (Day 101)

CONGRATZ!!! We are actually expecting to hear about two jobs for my husband today so hopefully we can share your excitement!!!! Good luck with your job!!!!Hopefully one of those approvals are coming very soon!

08/30/06- case received at CSC

08/31/06- received a new NOA1 email

09/01/06- touched AOS

09/15/06- AOS APPROVED!! got email saying welcome letter was sent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

09/20/06- welcome letter received!!! and approval email sent

09/21/06- touched and GREENCARD RECEIVED!!!!!

06/08/07- one year anniversary

06/08/08- two year anniversary

06/08/09- three year anniversary

Removal of Conditions

06/17/08- package sent to California

06/19/08- California receives package

06/19/08-NOA1

06/28/08-Biometrics appointment

07/28/08-touched

09/01/08-received non conditional green card

Congratulations! That's great - and isn't it nice to know that you have been appreciated enough that they still want to keep you even if it is with a sister company?

Hope your GC or EAD arrive very soon.
