God I hate to whine but this is the most confusing process.I have a lawyer that is pretty much useless. We got our letter from the consulate and it gives instructions to fill out the DS26o and make the asc and consulate appointments. A couple of questions does she have to fill out the 156 and 156k.If you go to the website it will let you download the 156k but not the 156.Also when we sent in our petition we sent passpot pictures, does th econsulate have those or do we need more. And last is there a packet 4 and what does it contain.Thank yall so much

Hi, there's no "packet 4" for Mexican beneficiaries. You must bring all the paperwork to the consulate when you go to the interview. Here it's a list of what your fiancee will need:

- American Consulate's Interview/Instruction Letter

- Birth Certificate (Petitioner) original & copy

- Copy US Passport (Petitioner)

- Divorce Decree- original & copy

- Passport photos (2-4) 5cm x 5 cm (Beneficiary)

- Birth Certificate (Beneficiary) original & copy

- Passport (Beneficiary)

- Two DS-156 documents (Beneficiary) ----DON'T SIGN THEM!

- One DS-156K documents (Beneficiary)----DON'T SIGN IT!

- DS-260 confirmation page

- I-134 (Petitioner)

- Letter from Employer regarding Salary/Employment (Petitioner)

- Copy of 4 most recent pay stubs (Petitioner)

- Copy of last 3 Income tax returns (Petitioner)

- Banamex visa process fee receipt(if you paid cash)

- Medical Exam results sealed

- Proofs of relationship such as phone bills, e-mails, letters, photos, hotel & restaurant receipts, plane or bus tickets, etc.
