I sent our's 04/04/2012, and it says delivered by Apr 6,2012, when should i get a text/email/snail mail? Any ideas my dear VJ friends??

Don't count on it. They often do not do it until you make an account on the website and put your case number in and select text msging.

yes I don't know why they bother to have us fill out that G1145 form. I sent mine in it was signed for March 17, No text, No email but on March 24 the hardcopy I-1797C came in mail dated March 19 is my receive date. So thats cool for me. Long as they have it.

But please register your case on site that was given once you have that case number (they could make it more explainable on that site) but after that its tick tick tick waitingwhistling.gif

By friday the 13th you should have your snail mail copy. Than you are good. and you are welcome. Isn't it funny we may all have love ones in different countries but some how we are a brother/sisterhood a family going through this journey together. I don't know seems kind of cool. It's been 3 days, wait 1-2 weeks before receiving the NOA1 hardcopy by mail.

K-1 Visa Timeline AOS Timeline

- Aug 31st, 2011 - Mailed I-129F package - May 29th, 2012 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP package

- Apr 13th, 2012 - Visa received - Aug 24th, 2012 - Green Card received

ROC Timeline

- May 19th, 2014 - Mailed ROC package to CSC

- Aug 8th, 2014 - Green Card received

N-400 Timeline

- Dec 29th, 2021 - Filed online. Got notice that biometrics will be reused.

- Now waiting...

Don't be surprized that you are not able to setup an account to enter your reciept number on the USCIS website to check the status on your visa. We mailed ours in on 1-9-2012 and still to this day we are not able to check the status on our case using the reciept number. We called in and they said it is in the normal processing steps.

We hope they have not lost or misplaced our petition. We wonder if other VJ's have had the same problem with a good turn out.

01/09/2012 - Sent to TSC

01/10/2012 - Received by TSC, transferred to VSC

01/13/2012 - check cleared bank and email from USCIS

01/17/2012 - NOA from VSC Receipt # notice no case #

That's a common problem. A lot of members on VJ are not able to check their status with their receipt number on the uscis website. Don't worry about it, if you got your NOA1, they have your petition!

I know I was checking each day after I got receipt number but didn't know I had to register and have an account than add the case (sorry they should be more plain. Gosh thats weird I mean whats the dang site for if you can't check your status.
