Hi all,

I just filed my I-129F for my fiancee in Vietnam. We met more than two years and I've visited her 2 times. We are very in loved and I am praying for us to get united soon here in America.

When I sent in my I-129F application, I included many pictures, airlines tickets, pages of phone bills, copies of letters from both of us. I also sent the receipts of the money I sent to help her with her needs such as helping her mom, helping her attending school to learn English and also helping her to learn the job skills. I sent her $300 each month for the past more than a year. Is having the receipts of sending the money with the I-129F application a good proof of our relationship?

Many thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Maybe or maybe not. You say it was to help your fiancee and her family. Can you prove that? A zealous USCIS adjudicator may inquire if the money was to be used to support your wife and your mother-in-law, and issue a RFE as a consequence. Hopefully, it won't be a problem. The rest of your evidence looks appropriate. Did you include a copy of all of your passport pages? The entry/exit immigration stamps are also good evidence of having met your fiancee.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I didn't include a copy of my passport but I included a copy of my Naturalization of Certificate, is that ok?

I never knew or never thought that sending the receipts of the money helping my fiancee could be used by the USCIS as supporting a wife.

Both of us are so in loved and would be so depressed if they will issue RFE of this and delay us from getting united.

what should I do now? I just received the NOA1? What are the chances of being delayed or received RFE regarding of the receipts of the money I sent to her in the past over a year?

I am now so worried.

Hopefully you will be okay.

Right after I sent in our petition, I was worried that I didn't submit the acceptable documentation about my divorces. I was anticipating a RFE for that, and had prepared a response..... we got our NOA2 in 147days, with NO RFEs.

This is just my personal conjecture, but I think a lot depends on the individual USCIS adjudicator, and the documentation quality and strength of the total petition. Sure, there are absolute requirements for the K1 visa, but there may be some leeway and interpretation afforded the adjudicator. Just a thought of mine.

Good luck.
