More SOCIAL JUSTICE wrapped in Christian garb.

The very first line is a joke.

"How many churches emphasize serving the poor as much as the bible its self."

-First of all there is a lot of wordage in the bible and relatively speaking very little deals with caring for the poor.

Even if one were to just take the New Testament only a small fraction speak on serving the poor.

Not to dismiss the importance only to point out the misleading first line of this vid.

- Go to your phone book right now and see what the percentage of non christian food pantries there are in your area, how many soup kitchens are run by say and Atheist group?

Not many. Even with a food stamps supplying a family of 3 with $400 a month we still have a number not far from my house.

-What these folks really are trying to do is hi-jack "a" message of Christ (not to be confused with "the" message) and use it as a means of growing Gov't.

Jesus told "his followers" to care for the poor, if we translate that into social justice it comes out- your personal responsibility it to vote for this burden to be shifted onto others... who may not even be Christians... via tax increases.

Christians have a PERSONAL obligation to care for others, the poor among them.

Citizens have an obligation to vote for responsible government, however they might define that..... be it Ron Pauls version or a Huge govt such as we have now.

Steve do you really think God will be disappointed in you because you failed to vote for another city bond or because you supported a small-govt candidate?

It's silliness.

A real case could be made to show how all of this Govt-help...... has actually hurt more people than it has helped.
