Hello VJ members, once again i am here and want to ask some input regarding co-sponsors...as i have already posted before, my fiance is currently out of job and we need a co-sponsor now. He has started collecting unemployment in February this year. Now we are filling up the Form I-134 and also send the same form to his step-dad to fill up too. My questions are the following:

1. His stepdad is filing ITR jointly with his mom, does his mom also has to fill out the I-134 separately? If that's the case then we will have two sets of I-134 for the co-sponsor alone, one from his mom and one from his stepdad? They are both retired and are receiving pensions so we cannot ask them to provide us with W2's and letters from employers.so what else can we ask fo them aside from the basic documents like birth certificate and their 1040's? do we need 2 sets also, one from his mom and one from his stepdad?

2. His unemployment is only good for 6 months, but he said he can extend it for longer than that, my question is, can we put the entire amount as part of his income? Coz he said its an income though so we must put that on the I-134 too, but I am confused because the question # 7 " I derived an annual income of______...and as i understand u can only have that if you are employed, can we list his unemployment as income?

3. And about the personal assets, he sad he has a car and some personal assets, can we list them too? will we need some documents showing the value of those assets?

I hope someone, somebody can help me answer my questions, any input would mean a lot for me and my fiance as well....Thanks VJ friends.....
