Hey - that rocks !! One more step, ah?

Check the online payment portal, see if the IV fee bill is ready to be paid. When it is, that's a good sign that the DS-3032 was added to the casefile. One of the anomolies I've noticed these past few months, is that NO LONGER does EP OPT IN occur within 24 hours of the ds-3032 being detached from the email and added to the casefile -

OPTING IN and DS-3032 'adding to the casefile' are separate steps, these past few months.

When the DS-3032 is detached from the email and added to the casefile, the IV Fee Bill is visible to be paid, usually 24 hours after ..

Oh wait - yer in for a treat and a surprise.

NO IV FEE BILLS are payable online, till after the 13th of April,

as

NVC is dropping the IV fees by 100 bucks - so instead of 404? You'll be paying 304 for the IV/DS-230 stuff.

Sorry for the good/bad news, but hey - in this case, time is money, 100 dollars less.

Hang in there, keep checking the IV pay button on the portal, also watch for the amount to be paid (304 vs 404) .

Good Luck !

NVC responded very quickly to the opt-in email, basically as soon as they opened. I mistyped my wife's birthday in my first email and it was rejected (yes, she wasn't born in 2012, force of habit), sent it again and heard back again very quickly. Payment portal has already adjusted to the new GZO number and the new cover sheet is already all set. I'll email in my I-864 later today. They also accepted the DS-3032, although the IV fee isn't available yet. It doesn't matter because I'd probably wait the one day anyway to save the $100. Talk about good timing!

Seems like electronic processing is getting better and better!
