Try checking the embassy website, for Honduras I think it ended up being $50-$75 more expensive. The doctor said the website price was for 'tercer edad', but it should give an approximation. Plus any vaccines, which they will probably insist on.

I checked and it says it can cost up to $600. But I wanted to know if someone has gone thru this recently and can provide a more realistic number. Kind of expensive huh?

Finally we all three together. We are happy :)

Well $250 is not that bad! I have friends who tell me to get prepared with about $500.

it was at 730am, she was home by 2pm in Usulutan... she said they asked questions about previous health, like previous pregnancy's, sicknesses, if she's had X-Rays done...

they didn't give her the results, they said they'd deliver them to the Embassy in time for the interview next week...

but yeah be prepared with $250-350 + gas and food :).

Yep, almost done! Can't wait, I hope the interview goes good for her, I got a lot of information and proof ready for her to present during the Interview...

I did it myself, I went with an attorney and he wanted $3500. That's way too much!

Also when I called they didn't even tell that I need it a picture of both of us :( I decided it to do it myself. GOOD LUCK MAN... HOW LONG HAS YOUR CASE TAKEN SINCE YOU MAILED THE PETITION I130?

havent been on here in a couple of days.

I first mailed out my I130 in April 2011. It would've been done a while ago but I took like 2 months before sending the Packet 4 payment since I had spent like 2 months in El Salvador and came back with almost no money...

it's not that hard, I also got delayed because I didn't send one document that I didn't know they needed. I figured everything was OK, but I felt it was taking too long to receive an answer back when I sent the AOS. That also delayed me...

I think if I was on top of everything, and I did everything as soon as I would receive it. I would've had everything done in 8-9 months. Its also hard sending/receiving original paperwork to and from El Salvador and the U.S.

you say they asked for pictures of you two together? or passport pictures of each of you? that's normal, I was asked for passport pictures twice now, and my wife like 3 times... dont know why...
