The time is finally coming for my interview (May) and I didn't know if I need to take documents other than ID's and photocopies of them as stated on the interview letter. Do I need to take any other evidence, since I did not apply based on Marriage? Thanks for the help!

Well that's the thing, all that was required was money, passport pics and the form. I sent no additional information other than those three as it was not marriage based.

Well, that makes things easy! Just bring what they ask for.

Just in case, I would also take your selective service card or proof (if you're male) and some tax transcripts (if you work). I'm self-employed so the IO was asking some questions about my work and whether I pay taxes. I had 5 year transcripts (free from IRS) with me in case I was forced to show proof. Good luck with the interview and test! :)

Perhaps things showing physical presence and residence in the U.S.

Your foreign passport for that last five years to verify your trips, recommended you bring two extra passport photos, even though if they have taken your photo at your biometrics and will use that.

With any traffic violations, proof you paid those, even however minor if your IO is mean and nasty.

Did toss in grade and tax transcripts for my stepdaughter five year, but because she had them, her IO didn't want to see them. Of course your green card, and some now are asking for a secondary photo ID such as a drivers' license.

This assumes you do not have a criminal record of any sort.
