Hi everyone, I married my Husband in Iran on 08/2011 and Before I was coming back to states I found out I was pregnant. I filled for my husband Beginning of December and Received the hard copy of I-130 on December 12th/2011 and The hard copy of I-129F on December 29th/2011... My due date is July 13th/2012. Since I'm having a high risk pregnancy I was wondering would it matter if I let Immigration know, to process his file faster, or they don't care... I just really want him here when I'm giving birth... please help!!!

If I'm understanding correctly, your case is still at USCIS. (if you fill in your timeline it would help a lot!)

You can call USCIS ask for a tier 2 operator and request an expedite for medical reasons

you will need to be prepared to have documentation of this for their records....it doesn't hurt to try but i've seen it approved for expedite and i've seen it denied even for high risk pregnancies. So just prepare as much as possible.

Also if your expedite is approved thru USCIS, you will need to request it again at NVC and again at the embassy level.

Good luck

You delayed things somewhat by filing the I-129, it means your I-130 will be [pulled out of place to be joined with the I-129, and then the K3 will more than likely be closed at NVC stage anyway. You can definitely try for an expedite if you have a high risk pregnancy, you will need documented evidence from your peri- a normal OB's statement is unlikely to count as high risk pregnancies are looked after by peris or specialist OBs.

All that being said, while the process may be expedited, your husband will more than likely face AP (extra security checks) after his interview, due to the country he is from, and that cannot be expedited.
