Hi,

:help: My fiance's packet 4 was mailed on March 13 and he hasn't received it yet. Is there any other way to get packet? Our interview is May 3 and he needs the interview letter to get medical. Can someone please let us know what we can do to get it? :help: !!!

From previous posts that I have read he can go to the consulate and pick one up...I think 2 weeks before the interview date if he hasn't received it by then. Good luck with everything!

Thanks, we will give it one more week, then I guess he'll have to go there. Does he have to be at consultorios de visa @0700 a.m. or can he arrive at a later time? Because it is so hard for him to get time off work, we're hoping if he has to go to SD to pick up packet he could get medical same day. Would that be possible, to do both? I emailed the consulate hoping they would email the letter for medical to one our email addresses. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a response sometime today or Monday.

My fiance received her packet in about two weeks but she lives in Santo Domingo. Maybe it is taking a bit longer for you because you might further away from the US embassy but as Sanchez said you can go and pick one up a few weeks before your interview date. If you have to go and pick up a duplicate from the embassy you can go early and still make it to Consultorios de Visa in time because they don't stop accepting people until 10 or 11 in the morning. They also should be able to email you all the documents as well but just see what they say in their response to be sure. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you as well but I doubt that you will here anything today because it might be closed. Good luck and keep us posted. :thumbs: :thumbs:

Even if you do get the packet from the embassy, here is the website for the US embassy in Santo Domingo detailing everything you need to have for the interview and you're also able to print out the forms. Even though I don't even have a NOA2, I filled these out for my fiance that way he can use them as an example and make sure they're filled out correctly in English.

Before showing up at the consulate. You must call them, and ask for a duplicate copy of the packet for your fiance to pick up on a specific day (of your choosing) 2 or 3 weeks before your interview date. I will give it 3 weeks before I call. But I hope either I or my fiancee get the packet so we don't go through the hassel.

• Nov 14, 2011 - I-129F packet sent.

• Nov 15, 2011 - Packet received and signed by (J. Authur)

• Nov 18, 2011 - NOA1 (Notice by text message and Email)

• Mar 02, 2012 - NOA2 (Notice by text message and Email) [Took 105 days]

• Mar 07, 2012 - NOA2 Hard copy arrived by mail.

• Mar 19, 2012 - NVC recieved my case.

• Mar 20, 2012 - NVC fowarded my case to US embassy in DR.

• April 05, 2012 - DOS gave us our interview date. (May 14th)

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! Called Embassy yesterday and the person I spoke to said they could not email anything to us but gave him an appointment to pick up packet later this week. My fiance will do the medical the same day if he gets out in time. If not will stay over in SD to do following day. How close is Consultorios de Visas to Embassy? I had already downloaded the forms and we filled them out together a while back. Hopefully, we can get all this finished by the end of the week and I can breathe a sigh of relief.
