Hi there!

I have never posted but I have read all the pages from July until now and it helped a lot, thanks Saylin for all your help.

Well we are July fillers and today finally we got the interview date!!!

May 23th is the day!

Just wanted to share and give some hope to the ones still waiting...long process but worth it...the big prize is coming...our loved ones living with us!

Yayyy!!!

Congrats everyone who got interview dates in the past couple of days! My husband did his medical on Tuesday. The physical, chest x-ray and blood test are done but we are still struggling to get all the vaccinations that he needs. He never had chicken pox so he needs a varicella shot but a new brand just came out and it's still not approved by the Ministry of Health so we have to wait for that one. I'm really worried that our POE will be delayed but there's not much we can do at this point.

Awesome! Most people don't have any problems but my husband didn't have a vaccination record and vaccinations aren't readily available here in Paraguay so we're having to travel all over the place to get them. He got 3 today and is just missing Varicella and Meningococcus but the good news is that he only has to get each one once so it won't mess up our POE plans at all.

Thats great!!! Well intially when I called the doctor I was planning on making my appointment for May 1st(I know cutting it close, I have to fly to another island to have it done)! However he said that should be fine...I could pick up the results on the morning of the interview. I sat and thought about it and decided it was not worth the risk of delaying my POE if those results are'nt ready in time, so I made it a week earlier!!Now I am relaxed!

Oh no I hope this doesn't mess us up. My husband has no record of vaccionations either.

You should contact one of the planel physicians there to make sure. I called yesterday, had to change my dates based on when the results would be done!
