Thanks so much everyone!! It was so easy and I was able to stay with my husband the whole time, which really helped to calm both our nerves. The visa will be ready to pick up tomorrow but we are waiting til next week a few days before we fly out to pick it up because we live far from the Capitol.

Oh my goodness I can't believe this part of the journey is over. Good luck to everyone who has interviews this month!! :star:

My wife just talked to the doctor and she told her that both she and my step-daughter passed the medical exam. Not sure why it took so long, but part of the problem was that she doesn't have regular office hours and yesterday was a holiday in Chile.

Although you may not be asked for any proof at all about your marital relationship (remember that by the time the beneficiary arrives to the interview, 85% of your visa approval has already been decided prior to it based on all the provided documentation), it is always a good idea to bring stuff. You draw your on line, so don't stress about it and just bring whatever you think may have the heaviest weight (i.e.: Pictures say more than thousand words)

So then how many words does a living breathing crying baby with a wet diaper in the interview room speak ???

( that will be the case with our 15 month old baby ) haha

I'm starting to really worry about the interview at the embassy next week!

Does anyone know if there's a checklist for all the stuff we Must bring (along with suggestions of what we should bring, just in case)??

The checklist of what you have to bring should be in your interview letter. Generally it's your passport, passport-sized photos and medical results if the doctor hasn't already sent them.

My husband took copies of every document we sent in throughout the process, which was completely unnecessary but I insisted on it just in case. You can also take additional evidence of an ongoing relationship. At our Embassy they didn't look at any of our additional evidence but it depends on your Embassy.

Good luck, try not to worry too much!
