Hi I've been working a job for about a week now and I am near the end of this whole GC process still in 'initial review' but entering the stage where it could be changed any day now as it's been about 4 months or so. I have to (in the computer system) complete a form stating my socail and alien number and what I 'am'; as to say "lawful permanent resident". Would I choose this? As the other options are all like Citizen and stuff just not sure, it's the last thing I have to do.

K-1 Visa Process

29/6 Case now in the hands of local consulate

Technically you are not a legal permanent resident until you are approved for your green card, but as you checked off on the SSN application, you are a legal alien allowed to work.
