Today I had Oath Ceremony.I took like 2 hours. It was a wonderful feeling today. They made us take oath of Allegiance and showed some

videos. So I am now an American Citizen !!! God Bless America !!! :)

If they don't schedule one I think that is an error, I've seen it happen too but normally everyone gets called for biometrics at every stage. As I said, mine was July 21st last year and I have a biome

My husbands interview was very short, it was the waiting time in the lobby that took everyone forever. The guy behind us said he waited for 1 1/2 hr and he still didnt get called til after my husband was finished with his. I suggest to anyone that maybe pays taxes each year after they file that they take receipts with them if they cant get all transcripts. It wasnt on the check list, but its better to have it than not have it. For some reason the system didnt let me get my copy of our 2011 tax transcript when I asked for it back in June, so we had 2009,2010 and then all the papers from 2011 that was filed with Jackson Hewitt.

If by Monday we havent gotten our tax transcript for 2011 that we ordered on the phone on Wednesday then we'll drive out to Houston to get it from our local office.

@PalmTreeGurl: I think it is better to drive to IRS office. Request them for Tax Transcript for 2011 saying that you need it for an important purpose (Naturalization Interview Requirement).

They may give you there itself. Just don't wait for the mail. Try to reach USCIS I.O and request for an info pass for an appointment so that

you can hand it over personally without any delay.

Thanks! Yes! We are driving there first thing tomorrow morning and its actually down the street from USCIS but bcz we will be getting our tax transcript tomorrow (if they can give it to us tomorrow) then we will go to the Post Office and mail it off overnight w/delivery confirmation. The letter says have it delivered before August 29th but we want it there by Tuesday.

updating and A QUESTION .... here's my question.. i got my letter and it states that i must bring MY DRIVER'S LICENSE and PREVIOUS TRAFFIC VIOLATION RECEIPT... do i have to BRING anything else?? tax returns? passports(recent and expired)?? just to be safe? did anyone bring more that they should bring??

Yes they do. That is what I heard from some people. It is better to be early and get things done at the earliest

rather than waiting for the mail. Just try to go the IRS and request them telling them why you need the IRS transcript the same day.

It's on "N-669 Naturalization Interview Document Check List". 3D is asking for tax transcripts for the last three years.

Well our mailman should be here in 15 minutes and if the tax transcripts that we ordered on Wednesday isnt in the mail, we are heading to Houston to the IRS office to get them. Yah all of this could have been avoided if the IRS system would have allowed me to order 2011 tax transcript.
