Who did you call? It has been almost a week and I have not received an interview letter. I know I should wait for the letter but I may have to make some travel plans and would be nice to know when the interview is.

Never mind. Got the letter in the mail today. July 16.

What law did UK change?

Oh dear, you didn't hear? It's not good. If you want to move back there the UKC needs to have a job in the country they're in for 6+ months that earns a certain amount plus they need to have a job offer on paper for when they arrive. USC's income is irrelevant. If the UKC doesn't have employment in the country they are in and doesn't have a job offer in the UK they would need 62,500ukp and there is no option for a co-sponsor. Makes USCIS look like a walk in the park. :whistle:

This sucks. I used to always be proud that the UK was so considerate and helpful of spouses and gave visas so conveniently.

I guess I ain't moving back to the UK then.

Yay! Congrats! Your case is definitely back to the processing times for other April applicants, glad that glitch didn't slow you down at all!

I'm quite ashamed by it all. We were planning on going back, either we apply before the rules come into action in July or we don't go back at all. This is really making me question if I want to return at all!

On a good note. I got my interview letter dated June 8th and the interview date is July 18th at 8 am. I will for sure not miss USCIS once I am done with this.

We might try to apply but we need a lot of paperwork from the UK with very short notice. I'm 8 months pregnant and it would mean we would move to move with a baby that would be 3 months old. Maybe I need some time for it to sink in but it just doesn't seem possible.

Please update my husband. We just received his interview letter today but the notice date is 6/12/2012 His interview is 7/19/2012

He has to bring this letter, his GC, SS registration, PPort, and our marriage cert.

plus our income taxes for 3 years & my Birth cert. Basically the original of what he made copies of for the N400 package. Im excited!!!

Also, thats on my baby brothers 26th bday & on my oldest sisters bday.... July 19th will be awesome!
