If they don't schedule one I think that is an error, I've seen it happen too but normally everyone gets called for biometrics at every stage. As I said, mine was July 21st last year and I have a biome

I see some other people getting worried about not seeing anything come through the mail yet. It's been over a month since we received our Notice of Action, I would assume something should have been received by now for fingerprint date or at least an interview date. I just hate this part.

If it has been more than 30 days, call the number on the bottom of your NOA1 and raise a service request. You will need to have your biometrics appointment before being scheduled for an interview.

Hey fellow April filers,

I had to reschedule my biometrics since I had a trip planned for the original scheduled date. Does anybody know how long does it take to receive another letter in the mail for BM?

Nineta if you don't live far from the Service Center , I think it's worth the try of doing an early walk-in, if that doesn't work out then doing it by mail it's the way to go.... I had the same problem , but the service center is 10minute drive from my house ( Brooklyn, NY) I just showed up before they opened 7:45 am the guard let everybody who had an appointment go first by 8:20am I was all done , nobody asked why I was there on a different date.... Hope it helps

Good morning all,

I am fairly new to this forum and I want to add my name to the list of N-400 filers.

04/12/12 Application sent

04/16/12 Priority date

04/19/12 Check cashed

05/08/12 FP appointment

I am a little puzzled since two days I received a text message with the following information:

"On May 17, 2012, we mailed you an appointment notice to have your fingerprints taken. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

This intrigues and worries me at the same time since I have already taken my fingerprints on May 8th.

Could they be mistaken and possibly sent my interview letter instead?
