Quick question guys- I m a PR and filed I130 for my wife back in Feb 2011. Case was approved around May 2011. COA and IV processing fee was paid on Apr 03, 2012. My question is Should we wait for further instructions from NVC or just go ahead and fill out the DS230 forms and send it off.

Thanks.

Once the IV processing fee is paid and the invoice status is paid, you can now print out the cover sheet complete the DS 230 attached with all the civil documents to be mail to NVC. But I will advice you to delay sending since your PD is far from becoming current soon, to avoid sending the police certificate towice.

You can submit all the docs without Police Clearance certificate. We have a same PD as yours and our case is complete. We notified the NVC that we would submit PCC at the time of interview..

My funda is always be ready with your paperwork because you never know the PD might move a year like it happened in 2010..
