Good news or bad news...people start gettibg COA letter from NVC. Fromm pd jan 2011 thru april 2011..

This action could be bring worst or could be very good for pd 2010. Are we expecting big jump or 38 days move like may 2012 vb??

Man if it will move slow again..i will be in big trouble again since I will be eligible for usc next month, but I can hold if I will be current in june/july vb..As you aware that if u became usc, u need to file separately for ur children again as IR2..bummers!!!9

Are there anyways to speed up Approval of I-130 for IR2 at USCIS, citing the one parent (based on F2A Petition) has already interviewed at Consulate?

My spouse's PD is 12/9/2010 and I am eligible to apply USC in Nov. We are expecting baby in the mid Sept. If my spouse's PD becomes current by Feb 2013, Then I am planning on holding to apply to become USC little longer. I do not want to apply a separate I-130 for my child and this will lengthen the wait for an extra 6-8 months.

Even you have request for expedite the process of I 130, still it will take 2-3 months. I would highly recommend hold onto ur citizeship application till your children(derrivative applicant) become pd current.

Once ur children born in september simply send birth certificate to nvc and nvc will send iv fee bill for ur children, pay the bill, then you request that you will provide all other ds230 form/documents at the interview time....thats how I did with nvc back in 2010 ..hope it will help.

Good luck!

thanks MaKali. Did you just sent Birth certificate only to NVC or copy of passport also. I understand separate IV fee for children. Did NVC also ask you to update DS230 and AOS, to add your kid to the principal applicant on file with NVC.

Yes you do have to update AOS & separately fill up new ds230 for your new born baby, what I did I knew that there will be retrogression, so I request them to have submit all documents at interview time. NVC was approved my request & completed the case.

I would suggest just fill up new aos & send all the necesary documents they need to complete your case file again.

Thanks...

thanks MaKali for your info and help. I believe infants do not require to attend an interview at consulate. How old is your baby and soon you will find out.
