I want to share something, my wife is pregnant and next month delivery, I applied for non immigrant visa and had a interview today the bullshit, consular officer reject my application just because I have a immigrant petition and he said maybe you will go and put the case for adjustment of status. What the f...

I told him my PD is 15 June 2010 and it may be current in next 3 to 4 months why should I do like this.

But he said sorry I can't you can apply again and may be

some other consular can approve this.

this is expected because they refuse non immigrant visa ,if u file immigrant petition

my wife was birth our baby in US & im here in Egypt & i applied for non immigrant visa to become with here (i was file I-130)

& CO refuse !!!

Hi guys, just letting you know, my parent petitioner became a citizen and I got my interview scheduled for May, therefore I'm no longer a representative beneficiary for the 2nd preference category. My heart, however, is still with all of you in F2A and other familiy categories. Be strong and optimistic and become a citizen as soon as you can. Go February 2010 and beyond for June!

I use to live in the UK but i have just change they address / country . I live in pakistan and my wife is a green card holder.

Please can any of you advice me does this change of address make my immigration process longer or same time?

your processing will be the same time. SINCE the UK and PAKISTAN are not countries with HIGH VISA REQUEST then they would fall under the "All Chargeability Areas Except Those Listed " column. Keep in mnd that to have your interview in Pakistan you bust be in legal status for residency. i.e. not a visitor
