hi Guys,

so my husband's PD is Sep 2010. the i 130 was approved sometime in Jan 2011. Last week we received an email from NVC advising our attorney to submit payment for the affidavit of support and the visa application. Of course we are going to ignore that since hubby is adjusting his status here.

I was wondering though if this was a good sign. i saw a few people who received this kind of fee payment email and became current after 2 or 3 months of that...

In any case, i hope this is indication that our pd will be current soon and hopefully by Sept/Oct.

Our PD is Nov-2010 and our case was completed by Aug-2011. We got the fee payment etc email during first week of May-2011. It's been more than 11 months and the PD's are not even in 2010? So i don't believe one receiving payment and visa fees is an indication...

Probably, it's more of an indication that they need to pocket more money, so that their monthly/quarterly quota is reached

well the attorney does not want to say anything considering he urges us to apply in 2010 due to that huge jump, then the retrogression which was such a let down.He just says it is moving with an optimistic tone, i think he does not want to make the mistake he had made when we filed since these things are unpredictable.

I any case, i definitely believe we will reach 2010 JAN or FEB in June VB. we shall see...

No one should expect the interview date or letter till the jun visa bulletin is not come out
