I'm an azzhole and I'll gladly admit it and quite frankly, I don't care what other people think.

Dude: you freaking rock

Actually, your attitude is very positive. There is something about your statement that makes me feel you are not scared of that habit. I have the feeling you can kick that habit in a funny way if you want to.

Those who are crying are those who are afraid of the habit because they know their mind is too weak for them to stop.

So, True Love overpowers smoking and smokers.

Since you have True Love, I get this sense that this topic is pointless, you not need further input, or even INITIAL input.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

He said he is an azzhole, he didn't say he is a smoker.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I don't mind smokers, but as a speech pathologist I get plenty of them at the clinic worried about laryngeal cancer and their voice problems associated with smoking such as reduced respiration capacity, reduced phonational range. We usually strobe them and let them see how much edema their vocal folds have, and its not a pretty sight. We get plenty of converts on the spot. Just some advice to smokers: always hydrate more than usual with water and if you can't stop, at least lessen your habit. Your vocal folds will thank you for it! :)

Let me clarify few things....

Was I rude on this topic? I bet I was. People should be disciplined with rudeness and not kindness.

Quite interesting and rather amusing philosophy you have here because rudeness proves time and time again to have a positive effect, right? :bonk:

I can sense you are a smoker. You prove my case. They will do anything to prove that smoking is not such a filthy habit. It is and it is a form of disrespect to your family. I kind of feel that some members of your family (maybe) ask you stop to stop to stop (like a FSM (finite state machine). But the love and respect you feel for them is not enough to make you quit. I am right about that?

 Sarcastic laugh for you smokers

Yes master yes I stop tomorrow because GOD (duriantaste) has spoken. Now I know what your issue is some person or persons must smoke in your building or work or while you were wait for the bus or at the light maybe.

Did they blow smoke your way... Awww so sorry about that!!

You woke up yesterday with the S on your chest and decided Mmmm where can I find some smokers... Ahhhh VJ!! I know there's got to be smokers here. The stress of wait for there loved will drive them to smoke. So I will belittle them until someone quits or admits they are filthy, stinky, and of bad Hygiene.. :protest: They are so SAD and Weak minded..

Yeaaaa!! Wow I feel so empowered right. :diablo::dance:  I see the "The Nobel Peace Prize" in the Future for my self!!

To comment on your comment about my family. Yes... they have asked me to stop smoking on several occasions. Which I reply... I know its a bad habit and I will need to quit this habit in time. My own time..

But just yesterday I was praised by my dad, mom, sister and wife for contributing $2500 to Wounded Warrior Project.. Those military will know what I am talking. GOD (duriantaste) may not know about charity and compassion for others. His day is filled by chase and belittling the smokers :ranting:

This not to side track the main comment of quitting smoking to be with GOD (duriantaste) world and followings but state the character of me.. So we never have to mingle or me so my flithy BAD Hygiene self won't infest you with my stink and association. I know I know you don't associated with smokers because they are the only ones you judge. Hahahahahaha!!! LOL!!!

Again I admit to my flaws.. Only I can change me... NOT YOU GOD (duriantaste)..

Oh yea Sempre fi to the Marine Dogs in VJ!!

GOD (duriantaste) I am enjoying your efforts :reading::pop:

Smokers are weak-minded lemmings that never overcame their childhood oral fixations. Worse are the marijuana smokers that think they are doing something healthy for their bodies, while at the same time, condemning the evils of the Tobacco companies. For teenage girls, I suppose it is a substitute to learn skills useful in their adult lives to keep their husbands from straying. For teenage boys, it is a gateway to a more flamboyant lifestyle, I am just saying.

I wonder why none of the smokers has told me the benefit of smoking.

Just curious. It is not a big question to ask.

What will be better a kiss from your wife or smoking a cigarette? Seriously.

For a kiss from my wife, the answer is endless of what I am capable to do. (L) But then again, that is what true love is all about. OVERPOWER anything :)

If I were a smoker and my little nice, a cousin, my pop, wife, etc asks me once to stop? Gladly I would, why? because the respect and love I feel for them, it is something that can't be described. (Take 2)

There is none. Smokers know it and you know it. So why are you pointing out the obvious. You need a walk outside. Oh wait there are smokers outside. Careful they are stinky filthy bad hygiene. I won't have anything to do with the like of them Yuk!!! Ill!! Nasty!! Disgusting!!!

I will sit here in my house and write on Visa Journey (Which is about VISAS!!) about smokers. Yeaahhh!! Cool I will fill my day like that. Yeaaa!!

Yes overpower things in your life!! Not others.. Still looking for your Dr. Phil certificate..

Wow keep striving for that acceptance in life from others.. LOL!!! Hahahahaha!!! I guess if they say jump you would say how high!!! LOL!!

I know my family respects and appreciate the things I do in life. All my goods and talk with me of the bads and flaws.

Guess you live by the old rule You can do an million goods but that one bad wipes the slate clean..

I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo glad GOD (duriantaste) is perfect. His hair must shine in the sun. GOD (duriantaste) teeth must be so white they blind people. GOD (duriantaste) must have the perfect home. The perfect life. I envy GOD (duriantaste)... Wow I am gonna run out and be just like him... Yeahhh!!! I will achieve the level of GOD (duriantaste)!!!

PERFECTION at it finest!!

Tell me where can I pick up the book of GOD (duriantaste)..?? 99 cent store in back by the garbage bags!!!

I am not asking anyone to stop smoking because being around them, I know how hard it can be! Just lessen and hydrate!

PS. My dad was a smoker too, and so were my hubby and I but we both quit a year ago, and we hadn't been smoking for long so I didn't really damage my Vocal folds yet. Luckily, tissue regenerates when given time to breathe so your vocal folds can still somewhat recover and not progress to worse if you stop right away. Of course, its also ironic that non-smokers can get laryngeal cancer too, and some smokers live up to 100.. so in the end, it's God's choice. But at least minimize the risk :)

What a difference from GOD (duriantaste) postings (I mean belittling).

I would listen to you before listening to the ranting of GOD (duriantaste). What was your method and approach to quit smoking?
