I don't know how this is relevant to this board. I assume that your wife is a smoker and you don't like it. You have to accept her and all her habits. If there is something you can't accept about your partner and it will bother you the rest of your lives, then you don't engage in a serious relationship with her..

The very first question my now wife asked me was if I smoke. I told her and I hope she did not smoke neither. Then she replied: First thing we have in common none of us smoke. She is allergic to smokers. She is so (which I love) hygienic. She told me she would never get involved to a smoker. YUCK(YM emoticons) came out of her mouth. But that was kind of cute. (L)

Judging by your profile ID and your profile picture (durian), you must stink. :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

:ot:

You are so funny :rofl::rofl:

Actually I was thinking about that. I took that nickname from my wife's cousin. A very funny young man.

But putting all the jokes aside, when I went to the Philippines I asked me wife to show me that fruits in person. I heard so many comments about it.

I mean, how weak can a mind be to be manipulated by something that it is putting dirt to your body and life? I need an answer to that. I am not trying to offend anyone, just opening their eyes.

Take care.

You must be boring!!! have you ever heard "sometimes, dirt, filth, and the forbidden gives you the most pleasurable/memorable experiences in life.. you adventures people know what I'm referring too..

Trying having a mistress :rofl::rofl::rofl:

You don't know what your talking about, did you know highly paid professionals and healthcare providers have a very high number of substance abusers (smokers and alcoholics, not to mention the rich and famous.. I think your the one with the lack of self steam and in need of glasses..

I am very lost by your post. Can you please tell me what is all about?

In my post I am referring that smokers lack hygiene. That is all I am saying. But people who smoke they see it much different because they are involved in that world.

Will do. Thanks! and I apologize for this post.

I thought it is useful and beneficial for smokers but you need to read between the lines.

Hygiene refers to the set of practices perceived by a community to be associated with the preservation of health and healthy living. While in modern medical sciences there is a set of standards of hygiene recommended for different situations, what is considered hygienic or not can vary between different cultures, genders and etarian groups. Some regular hygienic practices may be considered good habits by a society while the neglect of hygiene can be considered disgusting, disrespectful or even threatening-wikipedia

I never considered a smoker to have poor hygiene, but I guess from your perspective and wikipedia, it could be considered poor hygiene. To say the worst is a bit of an exaggeration though. If you reason that smokers have poor hygiene due to intentionally inhaling poisonous smoke, I could find agreement in that, but you must consider others as well. This would mean that drinkers of alcohol have poor hygiene by the potential damage they are doing to various organs. How many other people are ingesting those poisons...mmhmm..pharmaceuticals that potentially and do cause damage. See, these are just examples why smokers would not be in a class of their own for poor hygiene not to mention the various other ways one can harm the body. People make unhealthy choices many times without even thinking about it. However, I don't think that alone would rule anyone out as being the filthiest type of person there is if there is a type. You can't really justify the smell either. We pick up odors in our clothes all throughout the day that may be unpleasant. This post really just sounds like the result of some defense mechanism. You say you don't judge others except smokers so you do in fact judge and admit prejudice. Why? It's okay to accept the misgivings of a liar, murderer, rapist, thief etc. but not that of a smoker? Why not just admit you think you are better than smokers for some reason you've rationalized in your mind?

Same for me. Me and my fiancee did not want to be involved with someone that smokes. These types of issues should be discussed and settled BEFORE committing to a relationship.

Not sure why you feel the need to attack smokers. Surely vegans and vegetarians could judge you as having poor hygiene for the animals that happen to find their flesh on the end of your fork - for when it comes out the other end, that odor is nothing pleasant. Which in and of itself is an indicator you might need a good colonic irrigation.

Hygiene is a very broad term - there is the obvious and the not so obvious. Unless you had a disposable speculum shoved up your ####### just minutes prior to your rant about smokers lacking hygiene, you sir, are in no divine position to lecture others about the lack of hygiene. I am not a smoker, but I defend a smokers right to smoke if it pleases them - just as I defend your right to do what pleases you, hygiene aside.

"The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!" - Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady of the United States, 1945.

"Retreat hell! We just got here!"

I can't stand smoke so I could have started a thread about smokers and how much their smoke bothers me. But I remembered something I read:

:reading: forgiveness is an art not many possess.

I forgive them for what their smoke does to me. Maybe, instead of complaining, you should forgive them as well. :thumbs:
