Question, guys! :-) I will have my interview on April 10 and my CENOMAR's issuance date is May 11, 2011. Will this still be considered current by the US Embassy Consul in Manila? Need your thoughts on this. Thanks! :-)

National Statistics Office (NSO) does not put any expiration date on the document/s. However, end-users such as the Department of Foreign Affairs and embassies require the copy of the document/s not older than six (6) months from the date of payment.

NBI Clearance is valid up to 1 year from time of payment.

Best to get a new CENOMAR. This will avoid any request and delays in the Visa process.

I think it's too late to request for an updated CENOMAR this time. In case the consul requests for the most recent document, how long will it take for the visa to be processed? Will I be able to know right after the interview whether the visa is approved or not despite this flaw in the set of documents submitted?

Thanks for the input, guys! :-)

i think if your ging to get it here in mla it'll take 9 to 15 days

Thanks! Another question though - Lacking the most recent CENOMAR, will it affect the outcome of my interview? Will the consul still let me know whether the visa is denied or not right after the interview and maybe would require the most recent CENOMAR to be submitted later?

It all depends on the Consulate Officer. If they keep your passport and request for the updated CENOMAR. That is a good sign. It may delay your approval by 2 weeks or more.

Why chance it. I had my fiancee get a new one as hers expires soon as well. She got hers in one day but she spent the entire day at the NBI. Unfortunately you may be out of time as today is Good Friday and it is a holiday (as well as Monday). If you are required to get a new one and your fiancee is in a province, have her get the clearance at the nearest NBI Regional Office. She can get it same day. My fiancee was required to provide her passport number and my US address for whatever reason so just be prepared.
