Help!!! Preparation for Interview!

My fiancé sent me a copy of all the forms he has to submit on the day of his interview in June. But I noticed that all the forms are expired (The DS 156 and I-230) were both expired. Also the DS 156K was not in the packet or part 2 of I-230. I do understand that I can fill- in and print the updated forms online. But my fiancé is WORRIED about using the new forms instead of the old forms.

My questions: is there a possibility that they will have a problem with us submitting the New Forms or not accept them over the Old Forms that they gave us in packet 3 and 4? Also I just read that the I-230 should be returned immediately unless the office cannot process our case. Should I have him to mail off Part 1 of the I-230? But I thought all the forms where supposed to be submitted on the day of his interview. Help!!!!

Use the new ones from online! We did no problem. I would say most of us from here know better.... For the K-1 there is nothing to submit before the interview. YOu have the interview date right?

I believe you need to do the fee ahead of time now?

Yes, he already has his interview date which is the 2nd week in June. Know you have me curious. I was unaware of submitting in money prior to the interview date. I do not believe it states that anywhere in the packet. It states that " The Visa fee for Fiance(e) is 350 U.S. Dollars per person. This must be paid in the Cedi equivalent of the dollar charge". If any other expirenced well seasoned members have any information regarding having to pay fees prior to the interview please let me know. Thank you for responding to my post it is much appreciated!

I thought fees had to be paid before now- maybe that is just for B1/2 visas. We paid day off but that was over a year ago- someone who went recently would be the best to ask. So I would look at the recent approvals and send them a message to be sure. Sorry if I posted something incorrect. I knew some things changed for certain types.

Thank You midge.mij! I'm still not sure. My gut feeling tells me that All Fees and paperwork are do the day of the interview. It seems kind of odd that they wouldn't state that in the paperwork. But who knows. LoL I will take your beautiful advice and ask someone who has went for their interview recently. Thanks Again! : )

In Ghana the interview is scheduled for you, no payment before... every embassy is a little different.

I would think they would but remember they give you LONG expired docs so who knows what they do and do not tell you---

Good luck!!!
