YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got this email from USCIS:

"

Subject: Your Recent Inquiry

Message: The status of this service request is:

The California Service Center (CSC) no longer has jurisdiction over this petition. This case was approved and notification was mailed to the address of record on 4/3/12.

This case has been forwarded to the National Visa Center. Please send any further correspondence to the following address: NVC, 31 Rochester Avenue, Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909. Direct any telephone inquiries to (603) 334-0700.

"

Haven't gotten an NOA2 email/text and the website still says "pending" but this email means that it's over, right!?

9/19/11 - sent I-129F

9/21/11 - email NOA1

9/27/11 - hard copy NOA1

3/20/12 - congressional inquiry (6 months since NOA1)

4/4/12 - inquiry result: petition approved (still no NOA2 text/email/letter)

4/20/12 - packet 3 received from embassy

Looks like you should be receiving the formal NOA2 approval in the mail soon. Congrats!

However, it's not over...there's still plenty of road left in the journey! But, definitely celebrate right now!

Congrats Andy. Yes that means the wait for NOA2 is over. :) My fiance will try to schedule her interview end of April of first two weeks of May. Would be funny if your fiance ran into mine at some point. :P

Actually, I'm still very concerned about this NOA2. I still haven't gotten an official notice from the USCIS other than this brief reply to my service request. My status is listed as "pending" on the website and it still lists no "touches" since 9/27/11. :unsure:

Will try calling today.

Oh, and no email/text yet either. :wacko:

just called USCIS and NVC

USCIS says the case officer simply might have not updated case status yet and to allow 30 days

NVC says they haven't gotten the application and to try back in a week...
