okay so im gathering all the documents needed for the interview and im doing the affidavit of support but i dont make enough money so im getting my dad to co-sponsor the affidavit and fill out the I-864....BUT he just told me he was the sponsor for his girlfriend's brother to come here. my question is, will he still be able to co-sponsor me although he is already sponsoring someone else ??

I think as long as when he adds everyone up he is above the poverty line. I sponsored my mother and will now co-sponsor my sister. There is a place on the form where you list anyone else you have co-sponsored item 21(F).

If he makes correct income for his family + the person he already sponsored + the new intending immigrant then he can still be a sponsor.

You will have to count it up and then check with the poverty guide lines.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

you don't need a co-sponsor right now for the interview because you're doing K1. CR1 needs the sponsor or enough income, at the time of the interview. But you're straight till its time to file AOS. That's when you need to present sponsorship info.

Married: 6/17/11

I-130 Sent: 7/9/11

NOA1 : 7/14/11

I-129F Sent: 7/21/11

NOA2: 8/22/11

NVC Received: 8/24/11

NVC Left: 8/26/11

Consulate Received: 9/5/11

Packet 4 Received: 10/4/11

Medical Done: 11/7/11

Interview: 11/23/11

Approved: 11/23/11

Changed to CR1: 12/16/11

Medical Re-Done: 1/5/12

Waiting for Issuance of Visa.........

incorrect. K-1 requires proof that you can support the intending immigrant and if you show you cannot at the interview they will not issue a visa.

I believe you have to fill out the i-134 that is what someone on this websited said see below

Financial Docs:

Once your NOA2 arrives, you need to complete the affidavit and get a letter from your current employer (stating you have a job with them and you make $$$ a year), also you need a letter from your bank (stating how much money you deposited in the past year), and also 3 months of your most recent pay stubs and last 3 years of tax returns.

There are 2 affidavits (I-134 and I-864). The I-134 is very easy to complete and is usually needed for the K1 interview. The I-864 takes longer to complete and more evidence and its usually only needed for AOS but sometimes asked for during the K1 interview.
