AOS or CR-1? Which one fits better?

Hello all VJ´ers family!!

A friend of mine asked me how do the visa process, and if she can do it staying here... this is the story:

She is an architect in Bolivia, she has a good job and a great life there. She has always had Tourist Visa and came many times for vacation. Apparently she met this guy, and they were coming here and there back and forth, and in one of those trips, they decided to get married, went to Vegas, married, but she left before her visa expired, it was in december. Since then she left, and came back, and left, now she is remaining in Bolivia. My question is: Of course she can do the CR-1 (as I did) or... how exactly the AOS can be done if she comes and stays here? I´ve read about AOS process for people who came in tourist visa and they stay here and do the paperwork to get the visa, but since I was interested in the CR-1 I didn´t pay attention.

Do you think the AOS is an option for here, or she should follow the CR-1?? I couldn´t find information about it yet...

She can't AOS. AOS is for unexpected changes in situation when already in the US. She would have had to do it when she was here before. Now that she is left and has intent to immigrate she cannot come and adjust status. CR-1 is her only option.
