I'm waiting right along with you....the last couple of days or so have been really hard. But it's been really exciting seeing April filers at VSC get their approvals. It gives me some hope that mine is right along the corner as well!!!!

Waiting also......been playing with the numbers surounding mine on USCIS. Quite a lot of activity these past 2-3 days. I'm tracking 53 cases including mine, all with the same NOA1 date as mine. As of today there are 15 approved, 13 RFE, and 25 still showing initial review. Mine is still one of those showing initial review. This information doesn't really help anything LOL, just gives me something to do to keep from going insane over this process. I was surprised though at the ratio of RFE's to approvals. Based on my non-scientific, tiny sampling of petitions they are almost 50/50.

I haven't been able to sleep well at all for the past few days... following 39 cases properly filed on my day April 18th. 9 got RFE (some even today), 12 approved, one denial, one withdrawal and 16 of us still waiting...!!! gggrrr

The numbers before mine and after mine were already approved... MY FILE people, MY FOLDER is the one you have to pick up next VSC employee! Please! lol

Amazing how that works isn't it. In my "group" there are 10, mine is the first, and the next 5 after me have either been approved or RFE'd. Hmmmmmmmmmm seems ironic we are getting skipped or overlooked.

I do not have the letter yet, I checked the status on the website.

I need evidence of my final divorce. The Divorce Nisi is not sufficient. Now that I have read up a little on the divorce process, there appears to be a FINAL(I HOPE!) step that officially makes the divorce complete and the marriage ended. It appears I need to pay some more money to have that document sent to me. So off I go to do so!! My hope is that the agent that reviewed my paperwork only found that to be a problem and EVERYTHING else is in order, cause another RFE would be painful to say the least. Any others have the same RFE?

From what I understand it is the first step to finalizing a divorce. The judge agrees with the terms as set forth in the documents between the two people being divorced and they or anyone(?) now have so many days, months based on the state one lives in the USA to object to the divorce or decide to not divorce once that time period is reached the divorce is finalized and another document sent to each person. I am going to start a new topic for this since I am confused. The document I sent in clearly states in bold and as the title "FINAL JUDGEMENT AND DECREE OF DIVORCE" and the wording in the document clearly states each person is now legally separated and as if they were never married.

We received a text from USCIS around 20 minutes ago that our case was updated and to check online. That was the slowest my laptop has EVER started up. POST DECISION ACTIVITY>>>>>FINALLY!!!!!!

I immediately text my fiancee to call me on her Magic Jack and I told her the great news. What an emotional roller coaster.
