It seems the two NOA2 April filers we know of are both for the Philippines. I wonder if applications are separated by country and/or some countries are faster than others? I dunno but I'm an April 4th NOA1 at CSC and still no NOA2. I'm not gonna worry bout it till late August. If something happens earlier, great!

OMG!!! Wow! Im so so very Happy today!! Just got home and then check our status, and im so surprised to see there, Post decision activity!! Our petition is approved!! Woohoh!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

Got our Noa2 today!! Thank you lord. I will be with my baby soon.. Miss him so badly already!!

Hope we will get our case number sooner too..

I noticed that it seems like a lot of people that are posting that they have gotten approved have dates that are after my NOA1 date... Could it be because my case is more complicated?

Examples: My second time I am doing I129F

She is Peruvian but she lives in Mexico with me

We are both divorced

Do you think that could be the reason why it is not as fast as others have been?

Come'on CSC Lots of Aprils getting approved! 4/26 here and waiting! Am in Canada with my sweetie right now and it would be amazing to get our NOA2 before I return home to the States!

02/11/2012: He was denied entry to US & sent back for more documents

02/12/2012: Denied entry again even with documents

02/13/2012: I returned home

04/21/2012: Mailed K-1 visa petition

04/24/2012: Certified mail delivery confirmation

04/27/2012: Check cashed

04/27/2012: E-mail notification of receipt of petition

04/29/2012: NOA1 received!

08/07/2012: Received e-mail notification of RFE

09/07/2012: Finally able to send back info for RFE

09/17/2012: NOA2 APPROVED!!!

It just varies. It could be the speed of the individual adjudicator, more extensive background checks,filing more than one K-1 petition etc. Each case being unique, it is not uncommon for some to be adjudicated before others. One can only speculate when a case would be approved. Some December and January filers are just getting approved while February, a few March, and a few April filers are already getting approved. I consider any April filer getting approved in July lucky! Whether CSC or VSC, getting approved between 3-4 months is unexpected.

California Service Center is now approving April Filers. Please PLease Vermont Service Center approve us too!
