I just got a text notice.... NOA2 APPROVED :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

It took just six days from my RFE receipt to approve my newly submitted evidence! Now I think that's a pretty good turn around. I just got off the phone telling my sweetheart the news. There are two people dancing in unison half way across the globe. :dance:(F):dance:(F):dance:(F):dance:(F):dance:

Funny thing was when I signed on to the USICS site to read the decision they required me to change my password. I don't know if that's normal or just coincidental... hmm :blush:

Congratulations! We are still lingering in the dark. Yeah, CSC is really running the race. Glad you got it all worked out and can finally move forward. I don't know how often you have logged into the USCIS site, but it does ask you to update the password periodically. I have had to change 3 times since April.

Thanks Todd. I didn't log in often at all. I figured doing that would only add to my frustration so for me it was easier to ignore the site. We told ourselves this could be a year long process so a couple weeks one way or the other didn't matter. But I can't blame the Vermont folks for starting to get a little ruffled about the disparity in approval times. It's ironic because I remember when I mailed my application I was wishing it'd go to Vermont because they had the better record at the time. Who knew?

Good Luck to all!!!!

Hi Mr. Smiley, Congratulations! I would like to ask about the medical exam of your fiancee. Our NOA1 was received by Vermont dated April 23, 2012. Our NOA2 expected date is the last week of OCT or first week of NOV. I've seen that there were like 15 vaccinations needed for us to be approved of our medical. Can you verify this please so I can start having those vaccinations if ever all of it are needed.

What vaccines/boosters are required for immigrants and those applying for adjustment of status in the United States?

As part of the medical examination for immigration, all immigrants are required to have an assessment for the following vaccine-preventable diseases: mumps, measles, rubella, polio, tetanus and diphtheria toxoids, pertussis, Haemophilus influenzae type B, rotavirus, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, meningococcal disease, varicella, influenza, and pneumococcal pneumonia. Persons already in the United States applying for adjustment of status for permanent residency, including refugees, are also required to be assessed for these vaccine-preventable diseases.

http://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/medical-examination-faqs.html#6

Any vaccine with a series can be completed at the AOS stage.
