On w9 etc I checked off the us citizen box: natural trident.

What does this mean?

If you indeed claimed to be a US citizen fraudulently, there is very little chance you can stay in the USA legally. I would suggest a consult with a good immigration attorney but your chances are slim.

She probably claimed to be a US citizen on her I-9 for her employer.

No freakin' clue what's a "natural trident."

Thing is I had a valid Ssn didn't say anything like not valid so I was allowed I believe

Nope nope nope! SSN by itself does NOT give you the right to work. It is NOT work authorization.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

I also found out realized my father became a cit of the united states over 10 years ago

I meant to say natural resident in typing on a phone

The only thing I did was just work and clicked that box I was told by an employer to do so...

Do u think calling the ins up would be good or not ?

That was not the only you did. You falsely claimed US citizenship.

Your employer is not responsible for filling out the I-9. That is your responsibility. Since Canada is an English speaking country, I assume you understood the part above the signature line where it says you were signing under penalty of perjury.

UCSIC and ICE (no such thing as INS anymore) are not going to be "good" with you lying about being a US citizen. The law is very clear. Claiming to be a US citizen is going to be overlooked. If this catch up to you, you will be deported to Canada and ban for life from returning to the US.

What the heck is a "natural resident?" That's not an option on the I-9. That is a term that no one I know has ever used.

You falsely claimed to be a US Citizen and received a benefit by doing so.

And you would not receive that benefit with your existing status.

If you were an LPR and claimed to be a US Citizen, you could argue that you were entitled to

receive the benefit anyway (someone actually won on 9th Cir. Court of Appeals because of being LPR

and by default entitled to benefit received).

If you claimed to be a US Citizen but received no benefit out of it you could still be OK (like , if you screamed "I swear am US Citizen!" and jumped up and down on the street at very worst someone would call an ambulance to calm you down).

But you falsely claimed the US Citizenship and you received a benefit which you were not entitled to without it - this is a big mistake and there is ,as others mentioned, a lifetime ban for it.

In any event, you have got extensive replies and responses to your question and there is nothing else anyone here can tell you beyond what was already said to you.

Please note: None of the above is a legal advise. For legal consultation see a practicing immigration attorney.
