hello everyone, I had my interview on Feb. 13th and since then I didn't hear anything. I had my interview in Centennial Colorado. I read in some cases that some people had to wait more than 1 month or more before they get their green card. Is this normal? by the way the interview was good. any feedback is highly welcomed

I have waited 11 days before getting the approval.

It is hard to give any comment on your case though, because you didn't give us any detail.

Is there anything you think that it could be a red flag? Age difference? Previous marriage?

in fact there is no big age difference between me and my wife and I have never been married before. Some people took them more than a month before they approved. Does the infopass help in such thing?

I experienced the same. Interview on Mar, 23rd and still waiting. One attorney from another website said this is fairly common (it looks uncommon when we back to VJ, cause we have seen so many get approval on the spot). The attorney said it usually takes about 30-45days for the decision. Honestly, I have no idea what is going on with our cases, but I did notice that this happens more often to F-1 visa holders. Are you adjusting from F-1?

yes I am adjusting from an F1 visa. I read in this forum that some people took them 2 months and more to get approved. my lawyer said that I have to wait a month before he can ask for an infopass. So I have to wait this week and see what happens. Are you adjusting from an F1 as well?

Yes, I am adjusting from F-1 too.

Did your lawyer go to the interview with you? What is your lawyer's explanation about the waiting? If you had the interview on Feb 13th, then it is almost two months. So, I think it you should schedule an infopass soon. The IO told me to wait 3 weeks for the decision so I am planning to wait a little bit longer. What did your IO say at the end of the interview?

I am sorry but my interview was on March 13th. Yes, my lawyer went with me and he said that the same officer had made another couple wait long time before she made the decision. Our IO said that she would review our application and make a decision afterwards. I am thinking of giving them a call and see what they say. So, I am still waiting for the decision. I check the status online and it is still at interview and testing stage. What about you? how was your interview? where did you have your interview? what did your IO say at the end of the interview?

My online status is exactly like yours. Nothing has changed since then. My interview was at Texas. The IO said basically the same thing as yours that he will review my case and I should receive the decision by mail in 3 weeks. I am not sure that is exactly what I should be expecting cause others say the IOs never keep the time frames they give out.

So, let's keep update each other and hope we can receive something soon.
